IMAGE STORY

Something drew me to the riverbed of the Chobe River. I had not been very successful in getting the perfect shot as it had rained for weeks in the area before we arrived, and much of the land was impassable or flooded. The fresh clean smell of air filled my lungs, but there was a different feeling this morning.

I had waited here for hours when suddenly a family of elephants approached the scene. I could feel my pulse beating fast when the matriarch positioned herself between her family and us. There was no way for us to move.

I waited impatiently while the herd drank at the river’s edge. It seemed to take forever – then finally, the matriarch rejoined the group. When they turned around to walk away, I saw a picture happening. I had Mother Nature on my side. The colour in the clouds and the tree on the right just set the scene. It made my day.

• This image of the Pride of Africa Collection (African Wildlife) is available to purchase as a limited edition print in 5 different sizes.
• The edition size of the Pride of Africa Collection photographs is 101 prints per image plus Artist Proofs of which each size has a certain amount of prints allocated to it.
• All original photographs by Klaus Tiedge (+01.07.2019) are now released as an estate print with an embossed signature of Klaus Tiedge on the front (bottom right) and are released by the artistʼs wife Sandra Tiedge with a detailed authorisation on the back of the print.

• As our standard we are using Giclee printing method on high quality archival fine art paper e.g. Hahnemühle German Etching, Epson Cold Press paper.

• For international orders we ship with courier services such as DHL or Fedex within 3-10 working days with a door to door service.
• For local orders we ship with courier company withing 3-4 working days.
• Shipping charges may apply for special requests such as express service and shipping of framed/mounted artworks.
• Kindly note, that although we will mark the artwork as an original piece of art, you might still be liable for customs payments for your country if applicable.
