INSPIRATION German-born Klaus spent more than 20 years in the commercial world before deciding to pursue his passion for fine art photography. He isn’t your typical wildlife photographer, with the animals playing as important a role in the image as the environment they’re captured in. But it is his portrayal of people that is most alluring; Klaus spent time with the Himba in Namibia, the Masai in Kenya and the Bushmen near Botswana and the result is a captivating selection of fine art prints. Klaus transforms images slightly off the natural look in what he calls the ‘modern digital darkroom’ – without getting too artificial. The result: an extraordinary picture of an already beautiful image.
